REFLECTION

THE LAST TOPIC

               Nowadays, we are already in a modern world. Technologies had already became a part of our lives. There were times before that we are very happy if we had a picture. But today, we are happier for we can now edit those photos.

               

               One of the programs of photo editing is called the Adobe Photoshop. I learned how to use this software when I was in my second year here in this school. Honestly, I only learned a little. But now that I am a forth year student, I really learned a lot in my I.C.T. subject. Most my questions about photoshop were answered. How I wish that there will still be more time so that our teacher will teach us more than on what we know.

               But sadly, there is no more time for the last grading had already ended. But I promise that I will not stop on posting in my Blogger account. 

My Dream, My Future

I Can See It Now !

               Each one of us has a dream in life. Dream that we are determined to reach. And by the means of our effort and persistence, we will be able to fulfill our dreams.

               As a student, as a child of my parents, and as a citizen of this nation, I am giving my best to finish my studies. Even if I was still in high school, I am already focused on my studies so that I can reach and achieve my dreams. Dreams that are not only for me, but also to help my family and for the development of this country.

               Many years from now, I am already doing my responsibility as a son and as a citizen of our country. Because BS Mathematics is my course, maybe I will be working in a bank. A noble work, isn't it? Sitting in a vast office and working activities related to money. Or, I can also be a professor in a famous university which is a beautiful and also a decent work. I am also helping my loving parents and of course giving my salary to them because of the unstoppable they had given me. And, I am also helping for the development of our country.

               Right now, those are the things that I think I will become in the next years. I don't think much on what will be my future life, because my attention and is on my present life. It is better not to think much of what will be my life tomorrow, because it is better if I think what more I can do to improve my future.

Change: It Starts with Me

IT IS A MUST

                Many of us had already said, "Do I really need to change?" Well, based on the situations today, my answer is definitely YES. You know why? Lets find out.

                              At present, moral issues are already very vital in our lives. Divorce, abortion, same sex marriage, teenage pregnancy, poverty, juvenile delinquency, and including graft and corruption. These are some of the moral issues today. Imagine if we can't stop these things today. What will this country will become more years from now? It will already be an isolated and destroyed country. But we can still change the flow. All we need to do is to change our lives. this is the only key so that this country will surely arise.

               There are many reasons why we need to change but the best reason is, we need to change for the betterment and it should start with ourselves. 

KANNAWIDAN FESTIVAL

Dagiti Kannawidan Tayo

               Ilocanos indeed have a very rich culture and tradition. And as of today many of us are still preserving it for it is a treasure that is very precious for us. So, the Ilocos Sur government made a way so that many people will realize the importance of our past.

               

               Kannawidan Festival is one of the programs that are conducted by our provincial government to preserve our cultures and traditions. This is held during the last week of January and ended on the first week of February. In this event, every town's products and cultures were presented. There were games on the event of the government like Rodeo and Surfing. There were also parties for there were bands and celebrities in our country also come! Many people were very happy during that significant event not only because of the artist of course, but also, they had learned a lot.

               

               So, let us all make make a way to preserve or cultures and traditions for our past had already benn part our lives.

 

NEW YEAR, NEW ME

THE NEW BEGINNING

               Our experiences in the  past year shape the way we look at people, the way people look at you and the way we look the world around us. What are some of your experiences that had shaped your outlook and the way you live now.

               During the 23th year, I felt like I didn't do mush effort to improve my grades in school. I'd felt like I became more superior group than my other classmates during class hours and group activities. Also, I will only do my projects and activities in class when it is already its deadline. These are some of the things that I had done that I want to remove in my mind in this New Year so that my life would be better.

               Indeed the past experiences of life can teach you more. I am glad that I had turn back and saw what I did wrong in the past year and on what the true things to be improved or to be improved

.

A NEW ME !
(Reflection)

A Greek secular once said, “The art of life lies in taking pleasures as they pass, and the keenest pleasures are not intellectual, nor are they always moral.” By just reading this quote, one can tell that most philosophers and thinkers alike look for a deeper meaning of things in life.

The third grading period is indeed done; and there are many things in my life that I had taken or done by granted. One is my third periodical examinations. I didn't pay much attention in my exams because I still have a hangover on the very long vacation. Also, most of my projects are only done when its deadline is like tomorrow. Therefore, I didn’t maintain my honor in the class.

There was once a saying stating that we will learn from our mistakes. And it is very true for we will not experience the things that we learn from our class if we didn’t put it in action. If we fail once, why not try again?

So, during this fourth grading period, I will strive harder to make my grades higher and to be more industrious in doing all my requirements in school.

What Christmas Should Be

The Philippines is known as the “Land of Fiestas” at Christmas time, this is especially true. We Filipinos are proud to proclaim our Christmas celebration as the longest and merriest in the world. It begins formally on December 16 up to 24, until the first Sunday of January – the official end of the season.

Extravagant symbols are being put up. Christmas trees of different sizes, Christmas balls, Christmas lights and lanterns, and many more. Caroling here and there. Buying gifts for loved ones like clothes and shoes. All are busy.

Christmas Eve in our country is one of the traditions most families celebrate. It is a night without sleep, preparing abundant foods to be served after the mass. These foods include lechon, hamon, pancit, spaghetti, macaroni, barbecue and cake.

What is Christmas anyway? It comes from the Mass of Christ. A Mass Service is where Christians remember that Jesus came down for us. The manger scene is actually the reason why we celebrate the season. It immortalizes the true story about the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world on the Messiah.

Christmas should be simple, as where Jesus was born. Share our time, talent and treasures to the needy as the three wise men did. Show our great love not only to those who love us, but even to those who do not. And above all to give thanks to the reason of the season.

With one heart, let us lower down our celebration, but LEVEL UP the Christmas Spirit itself.

As The Weather Changes …

 

                Weather is blue skies and puffy white clouds; torrential rains with gale force winds; twisters ; flashes of lightning or snow gently falling to the ground.

                The weather, or climate as some people say, is the state of the atmosphere at any given time, it is experienced everywhere on Earth, it varies considerably from place to place, day to day, and season to season.

                But there is also a time when our climate is abnormal. For example, it rains during summer and the sun shines brightly during winter which causes glaciers and icebergs to melt. This is called climate change. All of the things we do that destroys destroys the environment can contribute to it. The most famous cause of climate change is global warming.

                If we want to still save Mother Earth, we must make a pledge that we must not do anything that destroys it. Because if our climate will be still changing, we don’t know what will happen in the future. 

English is the Key

                English? Bridge? How come they are connected with each other?

                At first thought, yes, it is impossible that the word “English” can be connected to the word “Bridge.” But as we dig deeper t its main idea, we can realize that these two words can merge together and can form one ideal thought.

                English is the most popular and most used language in the whole world. Merely all countries had already learned on how to speak English. And if you ask me on what are the importance of learning this language, I can tell you the main reason for that. That is because English serves as the bridge so that different people s with different languages can adapt English so that they can not only communicate with each other but they can also understand each other’s thoughts and ideas on the topic they are talking about.

                And the reason why our theme for this year is “Going Global Through English Language” is because they want us to use English so that even if we travel around the globe, English will still be our guide in meeting our goals in life.

                Each one of us have rights and opportunities that are exactly the same as the other people of this nation. But there are those people who feel that they are more superior than others. We can see managers sometimes that talk harshly to his or her employees. In addition,there are also bosses that chooses his or her family members and relatives instead of the better one during job openings. The act so called bullying is very popular in the whole world because of its immorality and brutality. By the situations enumerated, we can determine that these are some ways on how to remove the rights and opportunities of an individual.

                But, we can still stand a chance just to attain the rights and opportunities of each and every one of us. Because our respect to one another is the key to everyone’s success.
